Drive past Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Nandprayag. Visit Adi Shankaracharya's math in the evening.

Is there a walk at Badrinath?
No. The road goes right to Badrinath town, and the temple is a short walk from the parking area.
Can pind daan be done at Badrinath?
Yes. Brahma Kapal on the Alaknanda is one of the most important places for pind daan. We can arrange a priest on request.
When does Badrinath close in 2026?
The closing date is announced on Vijayadashami. It is expected in mid-November 2026.
